Okay, everyone!

After a good deal of my head meeting the desk, I managed to get the forum migrated. It took a lot of roundaboutwork to get here, and not everything went smoothly.

Your avatars don't seem to have made the trip over, so you'll have to re-upload those.

There's also an issue with Private Messages that caused them to not import correctly. It didn't like the way MyBB did its multiple quotes in each message, and as a result they got truncated. So unfortunately I can't recover from that.

I'm also noticing that posts with Links in them don't turn into clickable links. There may be something I can do about that, I'll investigate.

For now though, we're on a decent platform, and we'll build from here.

Looking good, Presston. Not seeing any smilies in advanced mode, though, or any of the WYSIWYG buttons, either.

Your user account had the editor turned off. Weird.

The new forum looks good, much better to read.
I also had only a simple editor (only text) and changed it in my profile.

So I'm finally able to login to my account which was a lot more problematic than expected....
Basically I could not use my password and I could not reset it, I couldn't even use the contact link since every link on this site was broken.
So I tried using the contact from the old page but that didn't seem to work.

Now I can at least login....and I have to do that a lot, bascially everytime I click onto anything here it asks me to login again.

But we'll see how it develops. I'm not sure about the color choice though? Can we actively change that for our personal display?
Some forums offer that since this nightmode reminds me of some dubious darknet sites

It also seems like all the pictures are gone. Therefore it pulled the avatar from everyone and took it for every picture someone uploaded. So every upload by let's say Nightbird features now his former avatar. At least this is how I see it at the moment.

As I mentioned in the original post here, avatars didn't make it over. There were always going to be a few things that couldn't import, but I tried my best to get as much as possible.

As to the login problem. That is a cookie conflict. You have cookies for both the old site and the new one, and that is confusing vBulletin. Delete your cookies and login again and that should sort that problem out. I ran into the same problem yesterday.

As far as images go, attachments did make it over, but weblinks didn't. The text for the link is there bt in a lot of cases it isn't clickable. I'm still working to fix that.

As to the colours, well, I rather like this one. But, we do have a bunch of other ones available, so perhaps we can add an alternate later.

For now, I just need to fix as much as I can.

Please link me to the thread you see this in. I'll see if I can figure out what's going on. I suspect it's a browser cache issue. You might want to try to clear your cache and see if anything changes.

Send me the thread, though, I will see if I can see the same thing.

It shows me only 3 pics, but I posted 9 or 10 images there and the text below the images is missing.

Edit:
The 3 pics are correct, I placed 4 pics in one image.
But the text is missing that I wrote under the pictures.

I cleared my cache and cookies but it didn't change anything.

Yup, that looks kind of messed up. I'll continue to look into it, but there may be things that don't work right.

Just FYI, since you're an Admin, you can log into the old forum at trampledbha.com/forums and get to the posts. So for some posts you could grab the images from the old forum and post them here.

Will continue to work on this, though. Ugh, I'm going to be cleaning up for months, I think.

Oh yeah I see the ostrich as well. I thought this was you picture. But yes, it's basically always the same, like USER A has one picture that appears for every post like the ostrich for Nightbird.
USER B has a different picture like Duke has this red car with the hoof.

I couldn't find any regular attachement that was not corrupted.

From what I can see now, 46 attachments were imported and just repeated. Well, this is a setback.

I noticed that nearly all quoted messages in posts are truncated, not only in the pn's. I restored the messages in the "my dream trampling setup" thread with copies from the old forum, but to keep threads readable we would have to check and "repair" each single thread.

Yes, and there are a LOT of threads. I'm currently trying to figure out the isues. I'm asking on the vBulletin and MyBB forums to see if there are things that could be done. If I can't get things working right, there are still some options open. But, we'll see.
